Stand Beside Them is an independent Australian educational resource for parents, carers, teachers and young people responding to bullying. It is not a school, government agency, counselling service or reporting body.

Important pages show when sources were last checked. Time-sensitive guidance is updated when official requirements change.
Clear limits
The site does not replace emergency help, counselling, medical care or advice from a qualified Australian lawyer.
Privacy by design
The website does not collect children's bullying reports.
Questionnaire answers are not saved or sent to Stand Beside Them. Entries in the private incident log remain in the browser on the device being used. Clearing browser data may remove them.
The site explains safer reporting pathways but does not operate a central anonymous-reporting inbox. This avoids creating an unsafe store of sensitive disclosures without the safeguarding, identity, moderation and mandatory-reporting systems required to manage them properly.
Corrections and professional review
Accuracy matters more than appearing perfect.
Qualified educators, counsellors, child-safety specialists and Australian legal professionals are welcome to suggest corrections or improvements through the Stand Beside Them social pages. Please do not send identifying details about a child through social media.
